We want to thank everyone who helped to make the Champion Teen Campaign a success. We could not have done it without your help and support. A special thanks to Israel Consulting, Prevailing Women, Kay Arumugam, and the Dignity Centre Team.
The Champion Teen Campaign we had on June 29th was a great success. We were able to educate and minister to over 30 teens. We provided them with a handout on information about Teen Pregnancy, HIV/Aids, Rape, Alcohol and Drug abuse, and Abuse (sexual, verbal, emotional). This handout has valuable information and contact numbers in case they ever find themselves in a situation and need help.
Dignity Centre attended the Wellness Day held at Durban University of Technology on July 25th. It was a great event and we met wonderful people. We want to thank everyone who made this possible and all the staff who worked so hard. We look forward to building a strong network with those we met.

We had workshops on the different issues and at the end of the day we gave them a certificate of completion and prayed with them. It was obvious from all the smiles that the teens enjoyed the day. It was a privilege for us to minister to this group.
A lot of young girls miss school when they have their period (monthly cycle), due to not having money for female products such as pads or tampons.
